A licence is a legal document issued by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) that allows you to fish in a designated area. If you want to take your boat out to sea, you will need a vessel licence.

For example, if you have a 10-pound panfish, and you want to keep it for two weeks, then you would divide 10 by 2, which is 2.5. This will give you the amount of time it will take to get it from the store to your table.
How much is a fishing license in Florida?
Florida residents only have access to the shoreline saltwater fishing license. If you fish from a boat or shore, you don’t have to pay for a saltwater fishing license, but you have to buy one for $17 for three days, $30 for seven days and $47 for one year.
