Do you bury air stones in aquarium?
They can be buried, but do not have to be. Not seeing the air stone at the bottom of the pond makes them look better buried.
If you have a pond with a lot of water, you may want to dig a hole in the middle of the pond and fill it with water. This will allow you to bury the stones.
You can also bury them in a shallow hole, and then fill the hole with sand or gravel.
Can I use an air stone without pump?
One of the easiest ways to aerate the water in your aquarium is to use a cup. Simply fill a pitcher or cup with the aquarium water, lift it up, and pour the water back in. Oxygen will be inserted into your tank by the way the water picks up oxygen on the way down.
