The needle valve is opened and bottle A is squeezed to get Citric Acid into bottle B. After a couple of days, bottle C is filled with the same mixture, but this time the cap is not screwed on. Bottle C has been left to ferment for a few more days.
At this point, it is time for bottle D to be filled. Once again, the bottle is left in the fermenter for several days to allow the yeast to get used to the new environment. After a week or so, bottles D and E are filled, as well as bottle F, which is the last bottle of the batch.
It is now time to fill bottle G. Again, this is done in a similar fashion as the previous bottles, except that instead of screwing on a cap, a tube is inserted into the top of each bottle. When the tube comes out, you can see that it has a small hole in it, so that the liquid can drain out of it.
