The new research provides the first evidence that soft-membraned fish eggs, eaten and pooped out by birds, can pass through, according to findings published in July in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences USA.

The study, led by researchers at the University of California, Davis, and the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena, found that the eggs of two species of cichlids, a group of small fish, were able to pass from the stomachs of birds to the intestines of other mammals, including mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, dogs, cats and humans.

The study was conducted by a team of researchers from UC Davis and UC San Diego, as well as the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) and National Institute on Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) in Bethesda, Maryland.

It was funded by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), Natural Resources Canada and Environment Canada.

Do birds poop?

Bird poop is not white, per se. Birds do not have separate exits for urine and feces. The white color of bird poo is caused by the presence of a pigment called melanin. Melanin is a naturally occurring pigment that is found in the skin, hair, feathers, and eyes of many animals, including birds.

It is also present in humans, but it is much less abundant in our skin than in birds’ feathers. In fact, birds are the only animals known to have pigment in their eyes, which is why they can see better than we can. The pigment is produced by melanocytes, a type of white blood cell, in response to ultraviolet (UV) light. This process is known as photoprotection.

Do most fish eggs survive?

A new study has shown that most fish eggs don’t make it out of the duck’s stomach. “This is the first time that we’ve been able to show that this is actually the case,” said study co-author and University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign professor of zoology and evolutionary biology, Dr. Michael D. Smith, in a press release.

It’s not a big deal, it doesn’t have any effect on the bird’s health.” the study was conducted by a team of researchers from the U.S.

Yes, they can do that. The eggs won’t hatch into baby fish because they haven’t been fertilized by a male fish. The female fish will reabsorb the eggs rather than throwing them away.
